NOVEMBER 2012
Biomes study is a third grade science standard. Our video/animation project for Fall 2012 is “Biomes Got Talent,” the culmination of our studies on world biomes. Each of the five teams contributed to the script and each team provided an actor, a voice actor and the artwork for the animation. Actors were filmed in front of a green screen and voice actors were recorded in late October. Students have been animating and recording their own characters in Frames software.

It was a wonderful experience. We did seven performances for the two schools and closed with a performance for parents and family on February 27. Thank you to the many people who gave us help and support.

EDUCATION COMMERCIAL
MAY 2013
The commercial was our editing project for this year. Students were provided a script and we shot the footage in class with our class video camera. All students edited a version of this script and we all had the same clips to work with. Students could choose to edit in iMovie 11 or in FinalCut Express.

"ALL OF THE STARS" - VIDEO PROJECT
MAY 2013
Our solar system video was shot over two days. First we did the voice-over for the song “All of the Stars, “ written for us by Sean Hart. Sean came to class and recorded the voice-over for us and came back with production assistant, Patty Courtland, to video students in front of the green screen singing the song.
